An Invitation to My Beautiful New Kitchen

857

Everything but the Turkey, my epic Wednesday-Before-Thanksgiving-Prep-All-Your-Sides-and-a-Pie-Pre-Funk party is less than two weeks away! And I’m announcing a special guest: the best baker I know is coming to help us make the pie. It’s Repast Bakery owner, (and my mom,) Debbie Brindley! (Most annoying is based on our initial test runs she’s cuter and funnier than me on camera. <insert eyeroll>)

When we were all in lock down, I beamed into many of your homes to cook with you from my little kitchen with the apple green tile. My favorite of them all was the pre-Thanksgiving party. We cooked SO MUCH in those three hours. (If we went a little over that’s only because we got to chatting.)

When my partner Terry and I bought our house, it was with the idea that we were going to put in a kitchen perfectly suited to this sort of virtual workshop. Two plus years later, after much wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth the kitchen is done. And OH, HEAVENS is it beautiful, and just in time for the biggest dinner party of the year!

Join me the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for our now annual Thanksgiving pre-funk prep party Everything but the Turkey. If you’re hosting Thanksgiving at yours or if you just want to show up with half the meal and knock everyone’s socks off.

What will we make?

  • STUFFINS! (That’s a cross between bread pudding and stuffing cooked in a muffin tin…DELISH)
  • Carroty Cardamom Carrots
  • Apple Pie
  • Orange Ginger Cranberries

We’ll cook it all together in an organized frenzy. We’ll sip wine if you’re inclined. Because here’s my idea: to me cooking all the food is just as fun as eating it all together. So, it’s really like two parties.

And at this class I’m going to make a BIG announcement of what’s to come for Thank Salt in 2024.

Wheeeeeeeee!!!!

xoxo
